This Chénas, made from gamay vines planted in 1939, is typical to this Beaujolais cru, and an excellent value under 20$. With aromas of red berries, rose water and soft spices. This light ruby red Chénas is fragrant and delicate. Soft tannins and typical gamay freshness give this wine a clean, elegant finish.
