This wine pours in a dark ruby color with slight purplish tints. It opens on a fresh note of dark cherry and blackberry. Anise and mint are complemented with peppery spices. It tastes fresh, tannins are smooth and round and the medium body brings out a pleasant minerality. You could sip on this with about anything, but try it with BBQ beef fajitas, it's spiciness and freshness will make everything come together.
